How many photos can I upload?
A minimum number of photos per category is 1. You can upload up to 3. Except for Flavours only 1 photo is allowed.
What is a student ID?
It’s an official document that confirms your student status in a higher education institution.
How to upload photos?
Go to the Photo Contest in the menu, choose the category and upload. You have to be logged in to do it. If you don’t have a Profile yet, click the link on the green background.
Can I upload photos while my verification status shows “in progress”?
Adding the photos while the status is “pending” will not work. You have to wait for the verification process to end positively.
Can I take part in the competition if I do not have a valid student ID or it is expiring soon?
With an expired student id, you will not be able to take part in the contest. Although if your student ID expiration date is near, but not yet there – you are free to upload!
When will the winners be announced?
The winners will be announced somewhen in May.
What prizes can you win in the contest?
The main prize is an Interrail Pass Youth Ticket which allows you to travel all over Europe! For the second and third place as well as the honorary mentions, we will also provide interesting photography and travel related prizes.
Who can take part in the contest?
Student with valid student ids.
When and where will the Final Gala take place?
In Łódź, on 30 May 2026.
